Yikes!! As of this evening, $3.59 just down the road. I think another guy posted the pic of a $3.99 price a day or two ago.

Crazy!

Try doing it three times a day with four different trucks.

It'll hurt a little...

I can go 380-450 miles (just depends how much fun i have) when I hit the 1/4 mark and I fill up. I have never seen the fuel light and don't plan on it. my truck gives me great mileage and fuel prices have put an end to my thoughts of a lift and bigger tires.

fuel prices suck, no doubt, and they are only getting worse. Everything just seemed to snowball over the last 5 years.

it's sad looking at the prices that way

I "filled" after I bought my truck for the ride home- it was a card lock station so it only showed me gallons, not dollars. I shut the pump off at 45 gallons because I couldn't take it anymore- probably paid $3.57 (they don't post prices at the card lock, it's supposed to be for commercial purchases only). My plan is to not fill up until price are down, then pump this monster tank full and try not to drive too much until prices are falling again.

Reading the miles y'all are getting out of a tank of fuel does make me feel a little better anyway. I can do 700 miles of city driving standing on my head, and well over 800 highway just simply using a little common sense. As much as I'd like to beat on mine for the sound of the turbo and exhaust and the chirp of tires I just plain old fashioned can't afford too. I just have the standard long bed tank of 38.5 gallons, but have crammed a little under 40 into it with time at the pump.

I filled up Monday, 2.499 a gal. Cost me $411.00 I was not going to fill my transfer tank but after reading what some of you are paying, I did. 38 gal in truck and 95 gal transfer tank. Only can put 90 gal in tank.

I hope all the oil companys have aother record profit year.
