I not only feel violated, I feel helpless. One of the reasons I bought my truck was to have a "flexible" fuel vehicle, something that could run on bio just in case fuel prices reached a point I couldn't afford to drive to work anymore. Looks like that time is drawing near.
Anyone in Denver want to start up a "brew bio and drink beer" club?
Now that would be a good idea...Brew bio, drink brew...then the truck and yourself can get "Filled". hehe

Like Mark mentioned we couldn't do it in the winter, but I see no reason why we can't save some dollars during the summer. We could save the money we'd use on diesel in the summer so we can afford to buy diesel in the winter. Getting blitzed and talking trucks is a bonus, too.
The more I think about the *****'s drilling our oil the more "violated" I feel. They are going to set up at the outer limit's of Cuba's territorial water's and slant drill into our territory. Does anyone find any humor in this?
Question, if we slant drill to tap China's oil resources...will our diesel smell like my bio does when the WVO feedstock is from the local China Buffet resturants?
If you have the money go to 4" straight exhaust and take a look at your EBP tube and sensor. I don't know how many miles you have on yours but a lot of members here have found their EPS tubes completely clogged at very low mileage.
Im only getting 8-9mpg Ill check my tube this weekend...but dang this thing is killin me. My 6-speed was getting 21mpg and I bought this auto and now I get 8!! Maybe I should not sell my 6-speed and sell the auto instead.....hmmmm.....
My personal experience with sticks and auto's is the mpg difference is very minimal anymore. Maybe back in the days of the slip and slide powerglide type stuff there was a difference that was worth being concerned with. But now the auto's are so sophisticated that the only difference is the auto is easier and more fun to romp on.
I cleaned my tube a couple of weeks ago. The tube wasn't clogged at all, but the bracket was completely clogged. It's hard to tell how my mileage is though because of the vegistroke, but it seems to be a little better.
Man it is all over. $4 dollars a gallon is within reach and I am fed up with the action that our government decides to take on all the wrong issues. For example: Over 90% of mortgage owners can and did pay thier mortgage payments during the whole sub-prime fiasco a few months ago. But they do not tell you that. It all boils down to the 10% lowsy percent that do not read the fine print when they are sighning their mortgage. These are the gamblers, the ones that claim they did not know what they are doing or claim to be decieved by the banks, then have the b*lls to complain about it on national tv. We all know what a floating mortgage rate gets you: a good interest rate when times are good and a bad one when the **** hits the fan. I swear I saw a lady on CNBC special investigation report that said and I quote "We were decieved" and followed that up later with "who reads the fine print anyway" . Complete idiots.
My point gents is: IF the lowsy bush regime is going to go out on a linb for these people who do not read the fine print on their mortgages, then why cannot we do something for the gas prices for the hard working american who needs to fill their truck/car up to go to work.
I am so pissed about this kind of stuff. I patrolled streets full of **** in Iraq to have uneducated stupid people get a break becuase they do not read their mortgages. Bull!
I want to see action from our government where it counts. Period.
I'm with cleatus. We all need our trucks to drive, They all need fuel. Me bitching about it isn't going to lower the prices. Instead of complaining, i just shake my head as i open up the fuel door, insert the cap, and regretfully insert the nozzle. I used to fill it up every time i stopped, but now i can get 3/4 tank for the same price. So, i put "just" $100 in and go until i think fuel has dropped, then put more in. Just like Miller said, all we can do is "hope" it gets better.
