Do you mean buying two programmers? Of two different manufactures, you might not write over every change, but you wouldn't keep enough for it be worth while.
Stacking usually involves putting a play-n-play module in the engine harness and doing a tune. It's a bad idea in my book, your fooling the computer which already might be pushing certain limits. Superchips and Edge offer hot tunes that are on the edge of what you should do without a dyno, if you must have the absolute max without going custom that is your best option.
