Stacks vs Pipes

I am kinda new to the diesel world and I was wondering which is more fuel friendly, stacks or pipes? Which of either is a good brand to go with? I have an edge programmer in my truck as well! Thanks for all the help!

Welcome to FTE. In my opinion I would rather have pipes. I think that stacks can prevent a truck from being a truck in a lot of cases.
First you need to cut a hole/holes in the bed which could ruin it for some things, and then you will sacrifice the ability to use a tool box, camper shell, aux fuel tank, etc.
All that being said, to each his own.
Once you open up the exhaust it shouldn't make much difference which way it is routed as far as fuel usage goes.

IMHO, some stacks in pickups are tastefully done. Others look like hey belong on a Kenworth. They can double as 105mm Howitzers.

I have a single 5 in stack with a toolbox. I like it. Lol. Just do what you want. In the end, your the one paying for the truck.

Zero difference in fuel economy stacks or pipes. Just all preference...
