Anyone else havin PC trouble? Seems like something is floatin around out there. Had trouble on my desk top the first of the month and about a week after that there was a windows update. Kind of like a patch I think. This mornin Shiba won't fire up and AVG won't update on my desktop.

Yup, I have AVG on the desktop and MacAfee on the laptops. Either my stuff is all get'n old at once and start'n ta mess up like my body is or somp'n has made it around it. MacAfee keeps havin the system gaurd turned off. So it tells me about it and I have ta turn it back on. This morn'n Margaret fired up the desk top and it said the firewall was off so I clicked to turn it on. Now the big question is did that really happen or is somethin in there givin my false info.
Oh and Virtual Ave was down this week end and yesterday so I couldn't bring up my web site. But all seems to work this mornin.

Fed Ex called me this morning to let me know there was a package for Diebold there, but it didn't have my name on it. I told him I would be out to pick it up shortly, I joked that I was also expecting a laptop, so if there were any of those around that didn't have a name, I would pick it up as well. He said there was a laptop without a name there and I could come pick it up, but I had to give him my new laptop in exchange. when I arrived, I found him looking at a laptop that someone had put in a box much like a cereal box, and dropped in the night deposit. it had a bogus name, a bogus address, and no shipping payment of any kind. its been there since April, and nobody came back to claim it.
It looked ok, but didn't have a power supply, and had windows ME on it. YUK. I may put my name in, and see how long they have to hold on to it before they would release it to me if that would possibly ever happen.

I have a very old toshi that I set up for Clint to use for the trip out. I had to strip everything off of it so the mappin software would fit. It has a version of windows that is no longer supported on it and cannot be update. Has a dial up modem and a cd drive that works. Couldn't get the 3.5" or usb to work.

I will try August is pretty booked up right now. Aparently I have gotten myself into the decking busness. Certainteed is selling composite decking for $1.25 a foot or $1 a foot if you buy a pallet of 92pcs. The decking is going for $16 a 16 foot stick regular $37 a foot. I have 3 decks on my calendar right now. If ya'll need any decking let me know and I will hook you up!
