I had a good day today. I was out in front of my garage and and a lady stopped and asked me about my driveway and asked who poured it. I told her we did and she asked me to come bid hers. So i went over to her house and and bid her driveway and she pretty much told me to i was going to do it. Bid came out just under 4K (she wants alot of concrete poured) and she didn't even bat an eye. So i get to run some concrete in my home town instead of Hutch area.
It runs $72 per yard 3yd minimum $50 fee for any truck that has less than that if that is all that is being poured. So if you have a 8.5yd pour and 1 truck has 6yds and the other 2.5yds there is no charge for the short truck. That price is for a 2500psi mix I have to wait till monday to price the 3500psi needed for a driveway.
I need to either get the part of the floor in my garage mud jacked or cut it out and pour a new section, so was just curious about current prices. It probably varies a little from community to community, but I'm guessing not much. Thanks.
Went and got 1.23 tons of rock for the wife's yard project... unloaded it all too... that is allot of rock. My back hurts. Have about 2-3 more loades to go. I hate yard work. but it will look nice.

I was gonna call and see if you wanted to use Hoss but I got problems, Tensioner pulley bearing locked up and trashed the pulley and I can't buy one, they make a new Tensioner assy but it's like $100 so I'm gonna fire up the lathe at work tomorrow and try and make one.
I think I'm good, I will take the wife's truck in the morning to work and should be able to turn out a new pulley and have it runnin tomorow night. Although I thought I would get started pullin the bed to make way for the flatbed. Got the fuel fillers out and all the wiring undone and wouldn't you know it, ever darn bolt on the thing is so rusted I can't get them out lol. So, I think I'm gonna stop by Sears tomorow and pick up one of those long flex head 1/2" ratchets and see if that will break them loose, if not then I will have to take it to the shop and hit them with the impact.
PB blaster, WD, used a breaker bar, you name it and I tried it, I will have to pick up some more PB tomorow and give it a whirl. I'm here to tell ya, I tried til my daddy parts hurt and it just wouldn't come loose!
