Start up problem
When I start my truck all the gauges peg and the lights flash. Just started happening about 5 months ago, changed the battery and the alternator so far and still no improvement. Any ideas.

Check and tighten all connections past the battery both + and - in case one is not tight.
If the issue is still there, begin to look at the ignition switch.
There may be a drain taking the battery down to far between starts.
The dash is seeing too low a voltage for some reason or there is excess starting current being drawn when starting the motor.
