Well guys in the hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will be going to go talk to the Autobody that is going to be painting the trucks to get me scheduled. I need the weather to warm up alittle first. My question is should I keep the grill guard or ditche it. I think the one that is on there is to small. I might look for a new one or just leave it off. What do you guys think?
The truck will be painted red. I could have the painter paint it the same color as the truck, but it is really nice to stand on when you are workin on the motor. So I was thinking something that I could repaint myself when it gets scuffed up. Maybe I will just rhino line it. lol I could always have it powder coated too.
Personally, I think it's a little small. There are still plenty of ways something could smash your grill, so it's not really serving its purpose and is just dead weight. Awesome truck though.
I think you need to keep it, Rhino line it in red or black. Then mount (2) 5" or 6" dia. driving lights in it. I think it would be best to have it chromed, but if you use it as a step, Rhino lining would be your best bet.
