33's or 35?

Ok guys before the weather gets nice I need to purchase new tires. My question is should I get some new 33's or should I try and see if 35's will fit? Even if the 35's fit I am not sure if they would look better or not.

Pics with the old 33's

37" nitto's fill the wheel wells nicely. Just need to tune down the turning radius a little and shave a 1/2" x 1 1/2" little section off the inner lip from the front of the well.

I'd go 35s that's what's on mine. I had to go from a 3" lift to a 6" lift for tire clearance on mine so be sure you got enough lift or you'll have to do some fender trimming on your front fenders. You have a good looking truck!

Another vote for 35's. IMO the 33's look "almost" big enough to fill the fenderwell. I have 315/75/16 on mine, which figures to be about 34.5". I've never liked the look of a truck that has no travel, where the guy stuffs the biggest tire possible in there. But no one wants a dinky little tire in there either. I think 35 is that middle ground.

Good looking truck too!

35s would look great on that truck, which is very nice!!! I don't think I'd try any bigger.

I'm probably odd man out, but I like 33" just fine. Plenty big, but that's me. I've got 33" on my 70 Bronco and 75 F250. Remember that you'll have brand new tread so they will be a bit larger than what's on now (if your tread is way worn down.) May sound a bit dumb, but it does make a difference.

Also may want to consider what kind of condition your front axle and steering is in...the bigger the tire, the more strain it puts on everything. More of an issue for me because I still run D30 up front my Bronco. But if you are considering both, I'd say you might regret it a bit if you don't get the 35". Anyway you go it's an investment. Check out some more pics in the galleries.

Not an F250, but it does look like it has a lift because 35s wouldn't fit under it if it never.

But at first glance, it looks to sit just like one.
