Need application for 4 trannys
RF-D2AR-7006-CB
Tag on housing RNG BJ1
LA 01 4848
Toploader: small input long Alum tail shaft
C8AB-7006-B The B is much bigger than the other letters
Tag on housing RAND2
K097074
Toploader: small input short cast tailshaft with a yoke instead of splined output.
D2AR-7006-AA The AA is much bigger than the other letters
C4: Big input looks like FE bolt pattern Big input
C5AP-7006-A
Any clue what these are supposed to fit? I bought a package deal and these were included.

As for the C4 wait, better minds may chime in, esp. numberdummy, who knows all and sees all.
first two came in mustangs with a 260/289
third came in a truck probably also with a 289/302
last one was in a galaxie probably 352/390
these are just guesses by the way they look and what cars I know the guy had at one time. He is being less than helpful.

Tag on housing RNG BJ1 RAN-G? That code doesn't match the ID tag...see below.

?? RAN-G = 1967 F100/250 240 I-6 w/131" wheelbase / Ford 3.03 3 Speed all syncro transmission
RAN-D2 = I have no reference for this one...it's prolly from a Mercury and I have no Merc parts catalogs.
RAN-D & RAN-D1 are 1967/68 Mustang 289 / 3.03 transmissions.
D2AR is an engineering number for 1972....from the transmission case itself, it's not the trans ID code.
The actual tag code prefix for a 3 speed is either RAN or RAT. The code for a 4 speed T/L begins with RUG.
1972: Why I questioned the RAN-G tag info above. A 1972 case in a 1967 F100/250 is rather odd...it's possible someone changed the trans case and put the old tag back on...but I doubt it.
There's no such tag number of just RNG. It has to be RAN something.
Could pics help?

An RUG is a Ford 4 speed top loader.
