no road yet... honestly prolly wont see it out again till next year.

got some paint and body dtuff to do and finish the interior. should be done by show season with a for sale sign... if the economy is worth anything????

Lookin better. Are you going to leave the 'new' metal or try to match the red?

My guess is you might be driving it for a couple years. Never know though - there is always somebody out there with too much money.

ha. I love it. I owned a bagged and bodydropped mazda which I traded for my f250.

don't let the purists get you down though. small block chevy motors are so cheap and and have so many available parts, why not do it? I'm planning to run a vortec headed chevy in mine.

i think this time im gunna actually do the body work and such. the end product (i think) will be white with a patina look (red and aqua sanded through spots)
leave the interior red and white, mostly red...


i know what ya mean, hopefully things will pick up, ive got several more projects to build

I'm not a big fan of 'fake' patina, but it's probably your best bet now. The white sounds like a good choice. Don't know if you have park yours for the winter where you're at, but I've thought that leaving a large piece of rusty metal above a body panel for the season might oxidization stain the paint without rust on the body itself. Not sure I explained that well....

At least Craigslist parts are cheaper.
