I don't know about the 04, but I bought one for my 02 since the Napa told me I had one and sold me the part. After I tore into it I discovered I don't have one and had to return the filter.
I have been searching for any info on a cab filter and have been coming up with nothing, I guess I will have to accept the fact that there are none on my truck
Where it was supposed to be on mine, was behind the glove box. When I removed the access panel all I saw was the heater core. Apparently it is an option on some trucks. You might take a look and see if you have one behind the glove box.
I will check that out in the morning, maybe I can make up a filter to fit in there to keep the road dust out! All the salt they have laid on the roads this year has really been making a mess inside the cab as well as out
Morning all...I just looked up the cabin air filter replacement on my 03 PSD (using my alldata account) and it states that not all trucks have them (but I guess we figured that one out) but it does go on to show a picture of the location under the glove box if you have a access panel with 5 screws in it you have a filter. If you have just two screws secureing the big close out panel you don't.
Wonder if its something that can be retrofitted to out trucks. I work for a concrete company and its always REALLY dusty in the summer. Would be nice to help keep the dash clean.
