how high?

Hey guys...I have a 85 f150. It has the body lift on it, and the guy I got her from already added the lift block in the rear for his trailor.{I thing 3"}???
SO the back end is pretty high. I am sure the front springs are original and have sagged alot. The question is do I add a 2" over stock 3", or 4"? I don't want the front end dramaticlly higher.
How many inches will the stock springs sag? That way I'll have an Idea on what size to buy.

If there are 3" blocks in the rear, a 4" coil spring lift up front should be what your looking for, but then you'll need new pivot drop brackets, drop pitman arm, and several other things involved with a 4" lift.

Yeah I kinda figured...I need to crawl under there and measure the block...it's weird, you look at it from 1 angle and it looks like 4 inch would be too much, then look at it from another side and it looks like 4 might be too little..

I have a 2" body lift on my 1989 F250.. I was looking for lift options when a buddy put a lift on his 2001 1ton. I did some measuring and think it should all fit and give a few more (4" or so) using his discarded leaf springs and larger blocks. Anyone tried this or something similar before? Think I should try it? or walk away now before I get frustrated trying to fit 2 incompatable set ups?
thanks

If they are the right length eye to eye, the same width, and the alignment pin is close to the same distance back then they should work. What are you gonna do about the front then? But if you used 1 ton leaves, its gonna ride like a 1 ton.
