I had found an old 4v intake just laying around and it seems to bb in pretty good condition but i dont know what it goes to, hear are the numbers on the intake:
S C8AE Firing order: 15426378
9425-f
all help would be greatly apperated
The only thing that I can tell with tha part no. is that it was cast in 1968 so it may have been installed on a 1968-1969 engine. What do the ports look like are they oval or rectangular is it a wet or dry manifold and does it have pushrod holes and valve cover gasket flange cast into it?
I'm assuming the intake has a big 'S' stamped on it forward of the carb pad.If so it is the casting used on 390 GT engines originally in 1966.
With the C8 casting it's intended use is a 1968 390/325 FE design. These intakes are plentiful and don't offer much in the way of performance, but if your looking for an intake to do a 4V/2V swap it's ok except for the weight......Happy Motoring..Dave.
