What is a 1960 Sedan Delivery? Is it like a Falcon wagon without side windows? I would like to see pictures of it. You can make a gallery using the information in the above link.

Sedan Deliveries are NOT panel trucks at all. They are not built on a truck chassis, but rather on a Sedan (car) chassis therefore a Sedan Delivery. The SD is always a 2 door station wagon with no side windows and would normally have barndoors (1) in the rear instead of the clamshell door like the 4 door station wagon did. This allowed a delivery person to get into the cargo without having to lean over the tailgate (lower clamshell) Most parts will interchange with the 2 door sedan and do not share any parts or components with the truck. If it were built on a truck chassis, they become Panel Deliveries or Panel Trucks and the cargo cap rating is higher due to bigger brakes,susp,axles,steering,6-8 ply tires, etc. The PD or PT had 2 rear doors. The SD was marketed to florists, bakers, dry cleaners, light duty stuff and like mine, the undertaker. Some had the roof raised and became ambulances. I found all my SD's to share all this no matter if they were Chev,Ford,Pont. SD's are sometimes referred to as Panel Wagons but so are the PT's. Mikes is a Panel Truck. The 4wd is somewhat rare. I love ANYTHING with a long roof. Nice Panel Truck Michael !!
