i dont know..its 500 bucks ..and has a GVW of 18k ...
Ron I found a clutch for $201, but you found a better deal, good deal.
I wouldn't run that electric setup without having a dual alternator setup to handle the extra load.
I don't recommend towing anything but a small trailer with the electrics. You are smart to stick with the belt driven fan, even completely ignoring the price.
so if we are back to the belt drive fan, is the cyclone fan clutch worth the 200? i dont understand the always off or always on thing. it seems that most of them time these trucks run with it off anyways. if it were hot enough to call for it, what is wrong with it being "on"? in what i had read, it seemed like a viable replacement with some additional benefits as well.

Ever heard a garbage truck on a hot summer day?
The radiator fan kicks in and out as needed to keep that hard working engine from boiling over.
When it kicks in the fan speed is 1 to 1 with the engine speed and it roars like an airplane propeller.
If they offered a viscous coupling like stock with a clutch that also completly disconnects the fan from the shaft, I would save up for it and buy it.

When mine went, i was told buy a few people that the motorcraft clutch has a lifespan of about 100K, i think i paid a little more than you did ron, got mine from directfordparts.com. I was also told to go motorcraft unless you can get a 100k warranty because these things are truly a "WEAR" item.
Glad your back coolin
