There is NO benefit to runing duals in this manner. The left bank plumbing will be longer than the right bank so exhaust pulses will be out of sync and the crossover or X will provide no additional scavenging. Frankly I don't see the reason for the obsession with true duals everybody seems to have around here, the benefits you get from longtube headers will far outweigh any miniscule boost achieved with a technically correct x pipe.
O2 sensor sould also be as close to the original position as possible to match factory computer calibration.
the x-pipe is so the o2 sensor is monitoring both cyl. bans with is how it is from factory and how I want it as for true duals that is also the way I like it, so take your smart-*** remarks (anybody can spout crap from a book) and keep them to your-self.....frankly the comments about others ideas are not appreciated

I don't see any smart-*** remarks in my post? And I didn't target you specifically with the remarks I did make, if I wanted to I would have quoted something you wrote.. like right now.

Ha! I thought that he had directed his comments to me... but now I see that they were directed at you. I'm looking to do the same installation and I'm hoping that the X-pipe will keep the tubes in sync. I will followup with my installer to confirm this idea.
I've seen one person here on the forum that installed long tube headers and posted pics. The ends of the headers looked low and exposed to potential damage if off roading. Bassani is the only manufacturer that claims to make an "equal length" mid tube header on the market. I called them and they could not confirm if the header would fit my truck. So, that's why I'm asking if anyone has tried them on their truck...

Thanks!
the small differences in length will not change a whole lot, it's not like we're trying to get 750 hp out of a honda, balancing the pulses between pipes has more advantages than minimal diff. in SECONDARY length,
