do they run zfs? i thought they were 5 tons. didn't get to get up close to them

99% run ZFs. Big pigs and super strong. They have planataries and are like 16:1 ratio.

most monsters run the zf because of the portals. better gearing and they stopped breaking shafts when they switched because there is a lot less stress. they look similar except for the hubs.

cool. either way it was a pretty good show, couple broken 4 links and a broken tie rod on one of them. gravedigger put on a pretty good show at the end. fun stuff

you can get smaller portal axles but they come from tractors. theres a couple threads on pirate about them. come from fronts so they have steering. heres and example and how much..

I forsee myself recommending these axles to the next guy with a TTB axle wanting 44s!

Most guys here run portals (from Mogs)... because they are really cheap, and Rocks are spendy on the coin purse.
Darn good axles.
