The picture looks like a good example to follow. I think if I could do it anybody can. Keep trying and follow that picture and you will get it right.I did bend mine closer together before I installed it and it was a lot tighter when shut. Next time I am in Charlotte I am going to get a new one at Dennis Carpenters and see how tight it will be when closed.
