Great thinking. If it's been modded or chipped you don't have any clue how it's been operated!
Besides, I'm so pleased with the performance of the 6.0....I keep wondering why anyone wants to chip it....unless (1) you're a gearhead with money to burn or (2) you need more power for heavy duty towing.
If it wasn't for the deal to sell your Ranger, I'd tell you to be patient and keep looking. I've been looking at truck for about 3 years total. Once I got serious and decided to go buy one, it took me a year and a half. I took one (a used 250) home for a week and wound up not buying it because the dealer would'nt deal price wise. After that it was weekly cruises by dealerships (didn't matter what brand) looking to see what was on their used truck lots.
Have you looked up in St George, the dealer up there always seems to have a good set of trucks at reasonable prices. If that is the dealer in Provo that is always on Ebay, they seem to have some real fancy trucks but they always do seem to be on the high end of prices. I do have to admit I was tempted by them.
