The old boy with the 390 should have flipped the head over and looked at the valves
Both those trucks posted look like good deals, if I didn't already have an old work truck, I'd be tempted myself...then again the iwfe would bring back out of temptation...
Wonder if a 390 will fit in my Ranger? Well, of course with enough money anything will fit. Don't really have a use for it, but it is not a bad deal for $100. However, should I be tempted, I would just spend half the money and buy the 400 sitting at Mike's

Haha, I'm the one selling the 390. I looked at the valves, and they all looked fine.
I don't need the motor and don't want to spend the money on the gaskets to put it back together and have it sit in the garage forever.
Somebody please buy it, so I don't get temped to do that!
Good plan. I'm trying to find a daily driver PU so I can actually get work done on my 4x4, make it into a toy, not a work truck. Already have most everything bought, just need something else to drive now.
Here is a sweet '70 in my town. Kind of tempting for parts.. but looking at the shape it is in, my truck may become the parts truck which is opposite of where I want to go.
