he's pretty happy with the $$ he will be shellin' out,
as for the J truck no 401, just the average 360, 401s are hard to come by around here, and the 360 has plenty of power for what I do with it, but I would love to find one for the old girl just for braggin' rights
I only saw one problem with the truck. The aluminum wheel he said are the factory are for a Superduty and will not fit that truck. other than that looks good!
tj, I noticed the same thing but haven't had the heart to tell him yet, but I have been pumping his imagination with mods, the basics, intake, exhaust, 10k mod, the list goes on and on, I just ain't real excited about him buying a truck sight un-seen, it don't sit well, but hey it's his money, but it's being shipped this weekend so it should be in their driveway by early next week
I didn't bid on it, but it was on my watch list. I'm just too cheap. Got my truck summer of '06 on ebay, flew down to Springfield Missouri to pick it up. The price of the truck, including airfare, fuel for 1500 miles, food and whiskey (drove through Kentucky), was less than $5100 to put her in my driveway. Best money ever spent. Now spending a bit making her into a 4x4. Many people (including posts on this forum) said to sell her and just buy a 4x4, but I don't mind the work. 4x4's are expensive.
And what's wrong with the alum wheels in the pic? Are they the newer 170mm wheels? I'd love to get a set of those (but I'm cheap, remember?)
