In tank mod

I was plaing on doing this mod after I sell my kidney on ebay.
ITP 7.3L Fuel Tank / Pre-Pump Kit but seen I should also do the return as well but that kit cost around ITP 7.3L "Standard" Regulated Return Kit
Base Price: $549.

Can you just do the air dog and kill both mods with one mod.

You can do the "In-Tank Kit" separately with no problems. The kit is worth every penny, too.

I can't speak to the Regulated Return kit, though i hear good things about it. All I do know is that it is not necessary to do with the In-Tanks.

The air dog might address the air in the lines, but it does not address the potential for faster fillups at the pump when trimming the vent line (Harpoon mod) at the same time you do the In-tank kit. Besides, if you do the in-tanks, the air dog is virtually unnecessary, and the in-tanks are a good bit cheaper to boot.

I'be done both RR and In tank. I didn't notice much of a difference with the in-tank. The Harpoon makes it fill faster. However, I did notice some debris in the filters INSIDE the tank. If it had plugged up, I'd have to drop the tank. Probably happen when I'm far away with no tools. Now, if it plugs up, all I do is get a BF1212 filter out and change it. Regulated return just feeds the heads better and more evenly.

I have both the intank and reg return. I put them in on the same day (with most of my mods) so I can't really tell you how they made a difference separately but I am very please with the way my truck runs since then. Idles better, quieter, better mpg. JMO

I talked to Dennis at ITP. What he told me was that I might or might not notice much. If my quick disconnect hoses were leaking, you would definitely hear the difference. Otherwise, it will sound the same, which it did.

You asked, you got.http://www.itpdiesel.com/store.php?docs=1

Look at the pre-pump kits. I'd buy ITPs and be done with it.

I didn't bother with the bowl delete since I live in an area where I think it would be nice to have a bowl heater without fabing one outside

Here's another good DIY write up on the in-tanks:
http://guzzle.rbmicro.com/hutch.html

I put in the ITP Hutch kit (with my own filter), and the CCK from DFA. About $160 for both. My truck loves me for it.
