intank fuel mods

I'm going to do the in tank fuel mod.I need some direction.
I looked up Guzzle's mod.
Guzzle mentioned ITP pre pump kit.
Guzzle had a lift pump and his DIY kit.

Question:
Does the ITP kit need a lift pump?

According to Diesel Site:
(Bob) his Dahl filter/water seperator 100, can be put in without a lift pump with no effects on stock FORD high pressure fuel pump?

Question:
What is the majority of the BROTHER HOOD doing.

I have DI regulated return I will be putting in at the same time.

Thanks for any info.

I did a search and found some info.
It looks like I can do mod with just a pre filter.
I saw Izzies mod/napa filter.
Napa filter is clear and it unscrews so you can change out filter element only?
Thanks for the reply.

I used the Napa filter as well. I would get the kit from itp. You can get it w/o the filter option. ITP 7.3L Fuel Tank / Pre-Pump Kit

ITP and Napa Filter here also. No lift pump.

Haven't changed my filter or had it apart because it still looks clean. But if it got "Gunk" in it i can take it apart and clean it or change the inner screen.

My tractor has the same one but smaller.. Been using it for 10 years and have to take it apart ever so often due to rust in the tank during grass mowing season.

THANKS FOR THE HELP.

Are the ITP in tank lines stainless steel?
I will go with ITP without filter and purchase NAPA.

I REALLY APPRECIATE THE INFO

They are regular brake line. I don't think that is stainless.
Why in the world would you need stainless? It is submerged in fuel oil constantly so it will never rust.

BTW, NAPA inline to protect the pump and stock fuel bowl here.
