and it has nothing to do with Guiri (sorry, I'm trying to keep hi spirits).
The X got broke in to tonight , some punk *ss, m-f'ing, good for nothing, pile of crap, took my $400 GPS, a pair of FRS walkie-taklies ($100), a pair of new cordless phones ($30 - we were returning them because they sucked, but it's still out of our pocket) and they tried to pull out the Prodigy (luckily unsuccessfully). I'm sure there are some other smaller things that are missing, but it was dark and cold, and the kids were crying to go home (it really scared them).
I'm not 100% sure how they got in. All windows were intact, but the cop noticed a scratch in the passenger door in the lock - he said it looked like the 'jimmied' the lock and got it open.
You know it just sucks that you work hard (2 jobs) to get a few things in this world, just to have some POS take it.
OK - I'm off my soap box and I'll try to just get over it and move on...
I had them bash out the passenger side of our E350 van to steal a radar detector. There was blood on the dash where he cut himself on the glass. I didn't feel too sorry for him!
I had a '92 GMC Suburban that they clamped a pair of vice grips to the outer lock escutcheon and twisted it in the sheet metal to break in.
I had an '84 Suburban that had a side window broken out and all my tools taken. The same Suburban had the rear window knocked out about 3 years before and the tools stolen.
Yeah, it really sucks. However, I also believe in a day of reckoning . . . .
That sucks, i hope that u catch the ******* that did it. I dont c y ppl do that **** to **** off ppl who actually work their asses off to afford nice things. These kind of storys make me want to go out and by a nice alarm system

^A shotgun is much more efficient than an alarm system. Well... maybe not as efficient... but way more fun. Nothing like knowing you have a 12g Remington Model 870 Super Magnum pump shotty with 3" slugs in it. BTW, 3.5" Magnums are too much kick. Anyone know if they make 3.5" slugs?
Keep your spirits high...the 'bright' side is that everyone is okay (well physically)...I know kids get spooked easily...just hold them tight tonight...
Material things are stuff as you say we work our butts off to get and some punk @ss violates us by stealing it really ticks you off and you should be...
My friend used to be a sheep farmer in South Africa, and they had fox problems, so he has a 12 gauge tripwire. (its like a little 12 gauge cannon that is tripwire activated)
I think its illegal, but its really cool as a conversation piece.

Man that sucks the big one. THere has been only 1 Excursion break in on our street and it was not us. It was a friend of our neighbors and they threw a brick threw the window
If the scumbag keeps the GPS system and uses it himself, I would think there is some way to track him. Check with the GPS manufacturer, especially if you registered the equipment with them for warranty purposes.
