To Everyone:
Thanks for your replies and heart felt sympathies.

greythorn3 - good idea with disabling the key locks. As soon as I get my door actuators fixed (next on my list of things to do), I think I'm gonna do that.

When I was an alarm installer back in the 80's, we had a little black box that we could disarm any Clifford or Viper alarm in about 30 seconds....on a slow day. All the parts were readily available at Radio Shack. It scanned all of the frequencies and when it hit the right one, chirp chirp. Really frustrated a lot of owners, but sold a ton of alarms for us. We were still using barrel keys with a manual pin lock on the hood. I wonder if there are any contraptions like that for the door remotes. It's my understanding that they are radio frequency, not hard wired. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what the dealer told me.

May be a stupid question but when you use your aauto lock is every lock locking? On mine I have to lock the back window by hand with the key. Sorry about the items you lost but I bet who ever did it will get caught sooner or later. The thing with these break ins is they won't quit till they get caught. They will get more ballsy if that is a word because they will get it in their heads i did this 10 times 20 times ect with out any trouble so no worries. I hope when they get caught they are old enough to be charged as adults.

No, sometimes they do not - the actuators are weakening. We do, however, check each and everytime to ensure that they are all locked - plus, the passenger door lock is damaged, so i know they came in that way.
