Where's the Beef?

What happened to the little "What I had to eat" thread. I had a couple good meals to post, and one really bad one and I can't find it.?

Anyhoo if you are in Winfeild, KS there is an AWSOME little Mexican restraunt on Main (the only one) that is great!! Great food. Good service.

Had an Awful meal (1/2 a meal) at KFC in Newton. PLace was a mess. Poop on the wall in the bathroom. No sporks or napkins at the drink center. Half the food on the buffet was crusty, except for the lack of chicken that was soft and greasey (even for KFC). And When I told the manager - the jumped right away and did nothing, told me they where very busy and they would get to it if I would be paceint. (I had been in line behind 1 person for 20 minutes) There where less then 10 people in the place, and him and the employees where standing around talking about another co-worker who didn't like the work schedule for next week.

In the last year we have gotten drive through from them and not once has the order been 100% right. No sporks or napkins, missing a bisquit, wrong type of chicken. Enough to upset me when I got home, but not bad enough to rant. But yesterday..... I won't be going back.

KFC in Madhappiness isn't the best either, even for a fast food place. The last time I was in there it was the same thing with no napkins, kinda dirty, and slow service. We have a bunch of new FF places here and most of them seem to be under staffed.

Yeah, KFC has went downhill over the last few years, used to be the best chicken you could get and now it's just nasty. They are all that way, I ate and the one up on 21st and the one down here and they are just like you described, crusty food, lousy service, and dirty. I gave up on them along time ago, we have ordered churches and popeys before and it was good but never been inside to eat there.

There is a KFC/Long John Silvers in McPherson that is pretty good but it is also brand new.

I like Dillons fried chicken. Extra soggy and double grease. It's cheap, fast and I get a pound of gizzards. We get KFC to go on 47th and it has been pretty good. I like original. But I like gizzards and they don't have them anymore. There biscuits are good. I don't eat inside. I've had the same luck as others with that.

I really miss Grandy's. Used to eat there all the time.
