Well I was working on a POS night drop box today came around the corner and say a gree fender with a winch mount, and instantly my phone rang. Bumped into HappyJack today sat and visited awhile, really cheered me up.
Yup. I made it out today. Went to the bank to get some money and needed some more sippin whiskey (well not really just needed ceeeeegars but found some 12 year old burbon) and had to go to Walgreens to get my scripion card activated and drop a c-note. That was fun and only took 2 hours but I saved $9 on what I could have bought over the counter and been gone in 5 minutes.
Any way I saw a white van that looked like one I had seen before. I did not see the blue oval on the bow tie but I looked inside and saw a head with a cap on it I recognized. Dug out my cell phone and by the time I was able to hit Chads number he was outside headed my way.
Seems the bank had some work done on the outside of the building and the contracter didn't think the night deposit box needed to be put back the way it had been. They just used a case of RTV to make it a part of the building. Not a problem till it broke and they sent Chad to fix it.
Ifin that happens again Chad, just give me a call and I'll drive Green over and winch it out.
Must have been the day for unofficial mini gatherings. Curtis(garden spyder) called today and I met Rollie(fordborn) and him in town for lunch while Rollie got new tires put on his (new to him) truck.

Yup a day for surprises. Glad I could get to meet up with Del and Curtis for lunch and had a great time. Got new tires for the truck at a great price and then got the job offer I was waiting for.
Yep got a chance to eat lunch with Rollie and Del, not quite as exciting but I started my Ford pickup, let it run for a while till it started running rough. This was nice because it has been sitting for a few months since I started it and wasn't sure it still knew how to run.
Garnett is part of my territory on the weekends, occasionally I end up down there, pm me your phone number and I will meet up with ya some time for a Coke or,. I like that sports grill on the east side of Ottawa, maybe we can meet up that way some time. I been trying to convice the wife we need to take a motorcycle trip down that way and eat there.
Used to know some people from Garnett, U know a Lisa McDougal, Brandon Smith, I can't think of Scott's last name right now, but his family had the cheese factory down there. Knew them from when I was in college.
