That is probably not a good sign since it usually snows after a nuclear blast, and with
the amount of depleated uranium that we are using there it is not good. We were
desperately looking for something to use all the left overs from enriching uranium
that it was packaged like nothing more than heavier lead and is Cheaper (for us)
than the tungsten penetrators. Anyone born after the first atomic test carries a bit
of isotope in them that was never in the human body before. We are playing with fire
and our eyes are closed. We have a bomb sitting supposedly off the coast of Georgia
One about 180 feet underground on some fenced in land in North Carolina, A plane, pilot and bomb FELL OFF a US carrier off the coast of japan never to be recovered!!
Not to mention numerous accidents where a material was released just in the U.S. alone!! I wonder what has happened in other nuclear powers. If you live within a few
hundred miles of a major bullseye (opps I mean city) or nearby a nuclear power plant
a good supply of iodine pills especially for the youngsters, and maybe a dosimeter or
geiger counter (check Ebay) We are living in strange times and you may have a
chance of dying from nuclear fallout as much as winning the lotto and getting the whole prize and being hit by lightning, But for a few bucks and only using Iodized salt
on a daily basis(sure sea salt tastes good) and keeping iodine pills and maybe a whole
house dosimeter, You could give yourself time to get from the area. Don't forget
lead used to be uranium and eventually it will all turn to lead!!

Or it could just be snow. I'm sure they'll find some way to spin this as proof of global warming.
I have seen snow in Florida and in Phoenix, so it happens. It doesn't have to be below freezing to snow, just between 34-38º depending on the humidity.

Interesting.

A popular theme lately in fiction books seems to be the prospect of a polar shift. There are two kinds - in one, the magnetic pole changes place, but in the other and more drastic type the axis of the earths rotation is affected.

Which would be a planetary disaster...

Some believe that such an "axis shift" has occurred in the past, and may be why the dinosaurs became extinct world-wide.

Interesting Wolf, although Im pretty sure magnetic reversals have been proved to be real, something about old lava flows on the ocean floor

Oddly enough, sub-surface imaging on shuttle overflights have revealed what appear to be remains of canals and river courses beneath the Sahara Desert - indicating that Lake Victoria once drained to the west and emptied into the Atlantic.

Tin foil hat, anyone?

That right there throws the whole global warming theory right out the window.

Continental drift. We all used to live on one continent called Pangea back when we were prehistoric.

if it was continental drift they could have digested their food before freezing to death.

Or they were already dead when they froze.
