HPOP upgrade??

Well I have a 95 f350 crew. Stage 1 DIY injectors and An edge progamer(planning on a better flip chip later) And 4 inch exhaust. I am looking to get a better HPOP or send mine for a rebuild and upgrade from dieselsite(450$?). Now spending 1500$ for a steath or pulse is not what I really want to do. but I have been told that they make more power then just upgrading to a newer pump. Is the power going to be worth the extra 1000$ or so. And keep in mind that my tranny is new but not made to handle this power yet So I will have to spend money on that too. Being as my tranny is still very well in tact might tell you that my foot is not that heavy, and maybe I will be happy with just upgrading my pump to new standards? Or what else is my options? Do I get my pump upgraded or get a newer pump and figure out how to bolt it on?

Since you have a 95, make sure you remember that you will have a bleed down issue with a 17* pump(SD pump). That 17 should feed your injectors well enough to support Stage1's. Your best bet, is to have the 17* internals installed into your pump body to stop the bleed down issue.
