Hey everyone, took off my boots cleaned them real good with soap and water, sprayed them with hair spray and reinstalled!!!

Did you remove the orange boots on the spider also? If so, what's the best method, looks like a nightmare to get to.
Yeah, they leak too. Once you have the two side boots off of it, one hose (marmon v-style) clamp at the turbo compressor outlet, remove the junk off the front and it comes right out.
Hi, I loosened 2 upper and 2 lower boots, being careful not to ground anything out. then I just wiggled the Y back and forth and the Y slipped rite off. just set Y up on fuel filter and reached behind and pulled boots off, not bad at all. cleaned boots (4) off and reinstalled. Dave
