02 troubles

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has had this syptom.
after letting truck warm up sometimes it acts like it is starving for fuel, it bucks a couple of times and throws SES. I just recently added DP but it did it before and am just trying to figure it out. could it be from an HPOP line. don't have anything that will pull codes. maybe CPS issue? Thanks in
advance, Dave

If you have the black CPS then bring it to your Ford dealer and get the recall done on it. That is where I would start. Usually the CPS going bad would kill the truck, and it would start back up or maybe not. There is lots more it could be, but I would start there.

If you tripped the SES light, there is a code stored. If you can get it read, it would help solve the problem.

Hi guys, just a quick note, changed out CPS, gray to gray, seems to have fixed my problem. I think it was CPS all along, started when I was on my way home after buying it,900 mi to home and it cut out and threw SES 5 times. It was a stressful 900 mi buying with no warranty. Thanks for all the help Dave

Wow a supporter already. You might as well pick u a spare CPS and carry it around in the glove box like some of us do. You may never need it, but it's nice to know its there.
