Hi all, just a quick ?, has anyone used or seen these gauges. I have been doing some research on them and haven't seen any on here, just wondering what you guys thought about them. I don't remember how to make their site a link. thanks David
I don't know alot about them but I do know that our trucks are exempt from general OBD2 standards meaning that you need a special software in order to accuratly display vital information about what is going on under the hood of your truck. If the correct software is available I don't see why you couldn't use it
The Aeroforce FD scan gauge will work on your truck. They do have limited features on the PSD but what it offers is pretty cool. You can read the same parameters as AE plus you can do tests like the CCT and Buzz test.
I have one that is backordered. They had to redesign their chip do to availability issues, so you may want to get a date from them before ordering. I also bought the fuel and oil pressure sensors to add to my gauge. This way I can watch ICP, IPR duty cycle, Injector PW, oil and fuel pressure, plus the rest of the supported parameters..
I have seen them in action and they work pretty good. Being able to see that data may make my AE collect a little dust.
I have had mine on order since early September, they keep saying they are close to a finished product. IMO it will be worth the wait.

Reason: spelling error
when I contacted them I was asking about the analog one plus the trans temp sensor and they told me to get the interceptor, as it plugs into OBD port and reads everything from there. This is what they wrote me...
You could use the Analog (analog) gauge for this, it has 2 EGT inputs and four 0-5v inputs. You'd need our fluid temp sensor kit to read trans temp.
The other option would be the Interceptor gauge, which will read trans temp directly from the OBD2 port. However, for EGT you will need the T/C amplifier to connect the EGT probe to one of the analog inputs. You'll also be able to read boost, ICP pressure, coolant temp, engine oil temp., etc. If all you care about are trans temp and EGT though, the Analogic would be less expensive since you won't need the T/C amp. The T/C amp is a thermocouple (EGT probe) amplifier to get the signal up to 0-5v for the analog input of the Interceptor to read.
I was just wondering if someone had one and how well it works. David
