Currently I am restoring the interior of a 79' F-100 with a 390 V8 backed by a C6 auto trans.
The previous owner installed an aftermarket B&M floor shifter and cut the shift arm on the transmission off to make way for the B&M adapter. I am wanting to revert this to the original column shift setup.
What do I need to do to replace the shift-arm on the transmission?
BTW, I do have another C6 transmission in a parts truck, but have no clue how to remove the shift arm from it. (I tried with no luck, is it connected internally?)
