Anyone know which mod is better. 4" or leave the 3 1/2 and straight pipe it. I know which is less expensive is it worth the extra $400. I've put the 6637 in, not much difference.
I paid a hair under $500 for my SS 4", but you can get an aluminized system for $300 -- less if you look around. The aftermarket systems are far less restrictive than straight piping the stock system because they're mandrel bent. The non-mandrel bent 3.5" is okay with the straight pipe if $$$ are a major concern, but when you hear an opened up 4 or 5" system, there's no comparison.

I upgraded to the 6637. I had to cut the old bottom half of the stock air box to get it to fit so the hood would shut. Question: what do you do with the water sensor and the other little sensor that was inside the old, now removed, air box?
what about a pre-filter for the 6637, is it a must?

I'm not sure which one you're calling the "water sensor". The little one is the AIT (Air Intake Temp) sensor and it can be zip tied at a convenient point (most of us tie it to the master cylinder). The FilterMinder can be tossed -- you can see the filter every time you open the hood. But there are methods for keeping it if you want. I tossed mine in the can and taped up the connector.

I think its a water sensor, some kind of float. The little one was inside the stock air box, the other was on the lid of the air box cover.
Thats the filterminder just tells you when to get a new filter I believe but it is mostlywrong it is nothing to worry about just let it go wtih the stock air box.
