I drive a 1976 f250 highboy 4x4 with the factory armstrong steering. I'm just wondering if anyone out there knows if there is some sort of a conversion to go from the armstrong to a full integrated power steering setup.
Thanks
Its going to be hard to find a parts truck because my truck has a 460 and is 4wd. In the 70's 4wd trucks never came with 460's. All im looking for is a bracket of some sort to bolt the steering box to my frame. I have all the other ****.
Also in 76 it wasnt a fully integrated power steering setup it was a power ram assist steering. I can't find any parts for that setup or else i would run it because it would just bolt in place, thats why im going for this conversion setup because the parts are readily available.
The powersteering box mount or the power steering pump mount because it really has nothing to do with the motor, the only thing that is affected by which motor it is. is the lenght of the hoses. Anyways does L&L have a website?
Im looking for the power steering box mount by the way.
i thought you were looking for the mount for the power steering pump for a 460. never seen a power steering box mount, i used one kit i found on ebay around $800 second i did i used all junkyard parts, 78 79 steering box, notched the frame
