I must admit that I peek out the window a few times at night just to make sure she's ok. One glance back after parking is mandatory for a brain gimp like me who might otherwise leave his lights on--or worse, not leave them on but think I did and run a half mile at break to check.

My girlfriend thinks i like my truck more than her, cus I'm always looking at it and washing it, but lately I only look at the right side cus I still aint got my dents fixed (guy painted over the scratches but didn't fix dents, p'd me off) Seems like someone keeps dinging my truck with their doors though i'm getting upset cus everytime i fix something someone re-wrecks it for me.
You men aren't alone. If I have a friend pick me up, I stare at it as I drive away. My last boyfriend was a Chevy luv'r and he'd tease me about watching it when we'd drive off. I told him "you gotta admit, it looks pretty sweet and doesn't sound bad right" and he'd always say yeah but it'd look better if it didn't have that four letter word on the front. We joked about it a lot becuz he was driving a ford too but "only becuz they would approve my credit and no one else would."
I don't park the farthest away in a parking lot. It only takes me longer to get where I'm going and back to my truck that way. I park right at the front so everyone can see it when they come and leave. I park by the doors at work and instead of sitting at the tables on smoke break, I'll turn my truck around and sit on the tailgate across the sidewalk from the rest of the smokers just so someone will ask if it's mine. Ain't that terrible? I don't even park it in my driveway! I park it on the grass at the side of the house away from the trees that cover the driveway. If it's storming, I will get up and take it to a bank drive thru or the car wash stalls or something covered so it doesnt' get hailed on.
My best friend has driven it but she's a Ford driver too and we will trade vehicles for a drag or something just so we can see how our vehicles look from the other perspective and that way, it's more of a trust thing. You've got mine, I've got yours, don't mess up or you won't have yours either!
Thanx!
