I always do that, In fact I have to force myself not to turn around more than twice when I walk away. Also I check the grade of the parking lot when I park to see where the best place to avoid any run away shopping carts. I always try to park at the highest part of the parking lot or far away from everyone else. Then its just a matter of time before my wife starts to complain about having to walk so far to the store entrance..........blah blah blah yada yada yada
I do the same thing!
I also drive in front of storefronts that have large full length windows so I can see it in motion.
Every once in awhile, I let my wife drive my vehicles so I can see and hear the rumble as she drives off.
I guess we all have the same fetishes.
How many of you guys watch your truck in a glass store front as you drive by. I drive past this building going to work. It has like 100ft of mirrored glass on the front.

>I love the drive home everyday:-X12
I do. And yes I turn around to look at it when I'm walking away. I will admit that its not my truck on my wallpaper...only because when she grows up she wants to be an F-150 Ext cab 4x4. I do have my web page as Lil Red's though can that be good enough?
I used to have an 80 Bronco- I used to turn around to make sure it hadn't caught on fire! I do still look, though, must be a habit. I look at all the places I have kicked the damn thing, at how much better the new SD next to it looks.... All that will change though.
I love my truck. I park it right up front in the parking lot here at the barracks so every morning, the first thing i see when i walk out is my truck. Puts a smile on my face every day, even though it isn't running right now.
I park at the very farthest row at school. I walk away in the morning, looking back to make sure an idiot doesn't hit it or attempt to desecrate it. But I don't think I have too much to worry about though. Right next to my F-250's spot is a lifted Ranger and next to that is a F-150. We call it Ford Truck Row even though at the end sits a Z71 eyesore. We actually admire each other's trucks cause one of us is always putting something new on all the time. Oh well, I guess a lot of us are that way.

HA! i thought i was the only one who did that! wow kind of weird
I do all the samethings. I park far away from everybody. Even though the Bronco is covered in mud right now (Hmmm, Mud vs Brand new Black paint), I turn around constantly and admire it. If I'm leaving to go somewhere with one of my parents or a friend. I stare at it as we pull away. I look at it as I cross the living room. Hell, I'll stand in the doorway and stare for a few minutes. I take everychance I can to look at it. Crap, I even admire it when I'm driving it. I look at my side mirror to look at the side of the truck. I admire how cool the tires look when they're rolling. I can't get enough, he he he.
well my first new truck i bought was a dodge in 99 and it was a 4x4 sport quad cab beautiful red it was my pride and joy and i would always say just like posts above when we drove by windows that is a sweet looking truck aint it honey and she would always say you love your truck more then me and id say no its 60/40 but it never failed id go to the mall i would park at the farthest spot away and always have a pinto or a big station wagon with the wood trim parked next to me when i came out that made me mad
guilty as charged.... ever lend your truck to someone, and run outside to hear them drive away.... gotta love that sound...
had my truck in the firehall lastnight washing the salt off it. (gotta get her to shine) and everyone was standing around looking at it(i was in the work room) and talking about how tuff it looked... gotta love that..
