Yea i would probably go 350 but i dont even wanna go there ill stay away from the darkside

the 300 I6. can't say i hear too many plagueing problems with them. maybe premature wristpin knock, but even that usually don't happen 'til 300k...

Oh ya every engine has its problems to a point, which is another point i was trying to make!

I would like to get a 300 6 banger sometime and test it out. I know its not gonna be as speedy as the 302 that I am used to, but I would like to give one a run, se what the hype is all about!

Glen-66gpw swears by the 300-6 and so does my neighbor that an 83 & an 91, both with the 300.

i think you'll like it prep. its very diesel-like without the top end of one. lots of low end grunt and a cheap to run workhorse. i'd love to have another one!!
