World Peace...please

seeing that the "interesting projects" thread has been locked i am forced to do this.

as chief peace officer of FTE, sask/man chapter, i'm calling on Nathan Sampson and Ryan Markowsky to please forgive and forget. we all have our differences, thats what make life interesting. our choice of projects, style and power is a personal signature and should be no reason to destroy friendships.

Ryan has stated his devotion and loyalty to the past days of carburators and mechanical means of power.

Nathan states that he prefers to make use of modern technology to propel his projects.

we all see the pro's/con's of each and we all realize that they are all Ford/Mercury systems which is a common ground.

My personal wish is to see you guys joking together again, with no hard feelings of what has been said.

live with the thought "to each their own" first and foremost.

thanks all...i'll feel better with each warm friendly reply from all!!

I think we both need a "time out" at the moment.

(?)

You guys always make me wonder...

I have THIS hardware that I am good at -

YEAH BUT!

"I HAVE THIS hardware I'm good with"

STUPID, I swear.....

RUN AGAINST EACHOTHER, and solve it.

Get stoopid, get ugly, all you want to.

The power to the ground is the issue - RUN!

Or back off and get real.

Ding ding ding, do we see a round two in the future?!

I think its great you guys are each really passionate and stick up for your thoughts and beliefs. I like the way you guys do it too, with facts and knowledge. I dont back down with my thoughts about honda cars, or cummins engines, or anything else, I wouldnt expect you guys to either. I wouldnt take it to the extreme of ignoring one another, but thats up to you fellas!

It's a little hard to race when both of us have unfinished trucks. So lets do it with math!

Ryan's 49 M-1
Engine - 239 Flathead V-8
Transmission - 3spd 1st: 2.82:1 2nd: 1.62:1 3rd: 1:1
Differential - Dana 41 3.92:1
HP - 110 @ 3500 rpm
Torque - 181 ft-lbs @ 2000 rpm
Curb weight - 3200 lbs

Nathan's 51 M-3
Engine - 331 SBF EFI
Transmission - 4spd auto 1st: 2.47 2nd: 1.54 3rd: 1.1 4th: 0.67
Differential - Dana 70B 3.73:1
HP - 275 @ 4500 rpm
Torque - 350 ft-lbs @ 3500 rpm
Curb weight - 4200 lbs

MPH = 224 (hp/weight)1/3 and ET = 6.290 (weight/hp)1/3

Ryan = 17.518 s @ 77.887 mph

Nathan = 14.840 s @ 94.606 mph

I think you can figure out the winner. Well he can't read this as he is ignoring me too. lalalalalalala

I think you mentioned it once or twice! Hey as it doesnt compare to a f150, except ten times better fuel mileage, lets compare it to your car :P

my car gets awesome mileage... parked on the lot at royal ford. if it was affordable it wouldn't be so nice on fuel, but it'd be as fun as heck!!

hey, that lightning they have... '04, 77k, immaculate condish for 32900.
