that was 4 yrs ago, to much beer since then to remember hehe.

BTW, there are no resonators on these trucks. there are two cats on them, one is a "pre" cat and the other is a cat.

i heard having a straight pipe is bad on the engine because no backpressure on the valves can anyone tell me if this is true

yes the 300 efi has 2 cats 1 is the "Y" and the other one is about a foot behind it. most people just chop the second one off.

BS. There's a front cat that doubles as a Y-pipe and then another one behind it like others have said. You'd probably soil yourself if you saw one of the newer cars with 4 cats.

the stock 96-98 mustangs have 6 cats. i have a 2000 mustang with 4

ok, i fixed the links so now they work.

this is with totally stock engine and manifold and the same muffler as above. i liked the way it sounded better when it was stock because it sounded almost like a 5.9 cummins diesel and did not sound ricey at any rpm unlike it did with the efi manifolds.
