1997 F150 Extend Cab Lariet Flare Side...
I'm thinking of installing the APC or Ford Lightning Euro Tail Lights. I know that they will fit and actually the Lightning Lights are now an OEM Part, but the two are designed a little different internally. The Lightning has two bulbs and the APC's use the standard three bulb. Just curious if anyone has done this and if it might look ok against a black truck. Thanks.
I own a 2000 F150 Extended Cab 4x4 Short box fleetside and plane on instaling Euro tail lights in the future it stands out alot but in my opinion looks great !
I have a black 99 f-150 supercab flareside with the lightening euros and it does look good.... to compliment the look you can use a bright led bulb and then put dark tinted tail light covers over them... you can still see the euro style when you signal or stop but you maintain a very sleek black look
ohh and buy em on the internet... last i remembered ford wants around 220 or so a peice!! ouch!
I have some Lightning Taillights on my 98 4x4 Ext. Cab. They look great . I had the deal with too many bulbs for not enough sockets. I just figured out which bulb I needed (you don't need both) and shoved the other out of the way. No problems.
I paid only $100 for the pair. I bought them off a guy on Ebay who was selling them outright for $100. No bids or anything. I haven't seen him advertising in a while though. And yes, these are real Lightning taillights made by Visteon for Ford .
