I've been looking to upgrade the ugly stock headlight assembly on my 2000 F-250. I stumbled across the APC Projectors while searching on here. Is it correct that it comes with an adaptor harness that uses a 9005 high beam bulb and 9006 low? I also saw that it comes with a spot for fog lights. What size bulb fits in there? Will a 9005 fit?
Also, can you use the Brite Box with this?
Thanks,
Les

They plug into the stock harness, so yes you can run the other bulbs. The projector lights have to wired using a switch. It is all pretty easy to do. You will have to do some cutting of the fiberglass behind the stock headlight to get the projector part to fit. I did not see where you can change the bulb out of the projector part. If you are doing this for light, stick with the stock headlights and upgrade the bulb. The projector headlights have "hot spots" when using them. I did it mainly for looks. Hope this helps.

So, you can't change the bulb out that is used in the projector? I was hoping I could use a Silverstar 9005 in there. Do they not come out or something? I already am using Silverstar 9007's in my stock assemblies. I was just wanting these because they look alot better. By "hot spots", do you mean they aren't bright, or is the light just "focused" more and not spread out? I was thinking about running the Brite Box to help alleviate the concentrated light problem often times associated with projectors. However, if I can't change the bulb in the projector out, I may not want them.
By hot spots, I mean the light looks like a half moon when I pull into the garage up against the wall. You really have a heard time adjusting them, especially from low beam to high beam. The projector did not look like it could be taken apart. I really did not look at it that hard due to I was not planning on changing the bulb out of them. The "projector" is basically like a fog light anyway. The brite box would help a lot.
Well, I emailed apc and asked them if it was possible to change the bulb in the projector. They replied "yes you can but we will not warranty". So, I guess I can change all the bulbs out to Silverstars, which is a good but expensive thing..lol Might as well start saving.
