Okay I'm ready.
I have the Ranger Off Road 4.0 Automatic that is purely stock and soon to be out of factory warranty, if it matters the color is silver and it is a full option truck with all the power goodies from the factory. I sold it to myself and it was a Ford Motor Credit lease return in super clean shape.
Now my friends I just chaged to APC Euro tail lights as the first aftermarket on this truck.
So what other goodies can I add under the hood to boost horsepower and what have some of you done ? Bear in mind I have no off road interests and use this as a daily driver.
Any Suggestions will be appreciated along with sources for parts
There's a couple of boards that deal with performance improvements under "Performance,Engines and Troubleshooting". Upgrading to performance exhaust is usually a good place to start. Click on exhaust(highlighted in blue) to go to MotorHavens' site.
