APC Projector Headlights

APC Projector Headlights
Anyone install APC projector Headlights? They have a little switch to dash mount for the driving lights. Was wondering if anyone has wired them to the ignition so they will shut down with the key off. I can see leaving them on and draining the battery.

Hi Dana. If you are able to remove the kick panel on your driver's side, you'll find a bundle of wires. One of these will be switched.
*HOWEVER*
DO NOT wire your lights into this lead. It will cause too much current to be drawn on this circuit. INSTEAD use this lead to energize your switch to a RELAY. The relay connects the current from the BATTERY (fused of course) to you lights.
