emergency need help

Hey guys I need help
I finally got the engine in the truck from the mustang.1986 ho.I used intake and all wiring and sensors from the truck, all I did was change the firing order to ho on the distrubutor.I used the stang distrubutor.Heres my problem.I hooked up the battery and noticed the fuel pump runs all the time. The only way I can get it to shut off is by unhooking relay. So no problem I started the truck.Wow it runs nice purrs like a kitten. So I get in to give it throttle and as soon as I hit the pedal it dies out.SO it starts and runs at an idle then stalls with no pedal.next the truck wont start with the key,the only way it starts is by jumping the relay on the fender.Tell me what could be wrong!!!!

You might have a bad ground. You should swap the truck distributor in. The mustang one has the ign mod on the distributor. The truck should have it on the left fender.
