Eliminating the quick-connects will eliminate air getting into your fuel line (read as quieter and longer living fuel injectors).
Also, by trimming the vent tube as short as possible, you can fill up your tank much faster because of not having the foam shooting out before you get the last 5 gallons in the tank.
Worth every penny of a full kit, especially since you have to go in the tank anyway.

Harpoon was the first guy to publish his results on the vent mod. And Hutchinguista was the guy who got everyone going on the air intrusion in the tank.
Definately worth the time - Did mine just a month or so ago and its def quieter, and seems to me the pedal response is better than before. Tank fills so easy now
