FRx and in tank mod
I finally got the FRx installed a couple of weeks ago, but have never gotten around to dropping my tank to do the in tank mods.
Is this still necessary since the FRx helps remove air from the system?

It will help. The sending unit and the quick disconnects on the suction side of the fuel line are still introducing a lot of air. The FRx is helping to get rid of it, but I doubt it's getting rid of all of it. My .02.

plus you are getting rid of the intank screen and adding an external filter....that will hopefully keep you from being stranded one day.
