As long as we're discussing "what models got what extras":I have seen a "custom cab" emblem immediately below the fender model emblems on a very few of our trucks. Most of the aftermarket suppliers sell them and list them for all 73-76s. What determined what trucks got them? I thought it might be just an F-350 thing but the suppliers lists say they fit all F series. Any ideas?

Great question - been wondering about that myself. What is a "Custom Cab", and what made it different than the other models? Was it a cab and chassis model?
I have never seen a CustomCab emblem on a 73-79 F100-F350 truck. I have, however, seen the CustomCab emblem on 73-79 F-500 and bigger trucks. I believe the emblem was on the door.

I have a 77 F100 Custom with 302/c4, rubber mat,
I have a 77 F150 with 351M/C6 (originally) with carpet.
Now my 63 has CustomCab on the doors, but the 77's just say Custom on the cowl.

However, the CustomCab emblem is for '73-'76's - still trying to understand when and where they were used. I'll check some of my dealer brochures.
