I have a 77 f150 2 wheel drive with a 351m and an NP435 Tranny. When pulling my tranny the UJoint went ALL over the place thus the need to replace. I have a carrier bearing between the two driveshafts and the Haynes / Chilton manuals are about as much help as a fart. Does anyone know if you can remove the front driveshaft without removing the rear one or is it easier to remove the rear one. A diagram would be GREAT.
Diagrams were great but not my application. I have a shaft that goes into a carrier bearing and then to the rear shaft. Do I pull the rear shaft to get the front one off?

Looks correct to me.
The pics are abbreviated..but represent all Ford F100/350 two piece driveshafts from 1948 to today.
See figures 2 & 3...then read down for the instructions on how to remove the shafts.
btw: D9TZ-4800-A .. Driveshaft Center Support Kit (aka carrier bearing)
